I had the opportunity of enjoying the most amazing & magic notes of the Stradivarius Piano Trio. A delightful evening hosted by Kensington Chelsea Women's Club.
Before the concert, we had a tour around the National Liberal Club (NLC) established in 1882, a club of many Prime Ministers as William Ewart Gladstone, Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and more.
The evening started with welcome drinks, followed by a Concert (Steinway & Son) Piano, (a real Stradivarius) Violin and a Cello trio. Finishing with drinks at the smoking room and a scrumptious dinner at the David Lloyd George Room.
The building is just breath-taking and the fact that many meetings, agreements, disagreements and conspirations were discussed and arranged behind those walls, made me feel honoured to be part of that special evening.
The Suffragettes smashed the windows of the building during their protests for the women's right to vote. Many movies and series have been filmed inside and outside the building.
